Who's behind Buckaroo? And What's in a Name? |
Who's behind Buckaroo?
Buckaroo was born as the result of a real
business need at it's parent company, Iron Speed, Inc.
Iron Speed providescompanies with simple
solutions for making business processes less
costly and more
efficient.
Why was Buckaroo created?
Iron Speed relies on online discounts and email
promotions to make sales.
Trouble is, marketing services
are expensive and we've all witnessed
the damages caused by daily deal sites like
Groupon and LivingSocial!
We needed a better way to boost sales
— and we knew we weren't the only ones looking
for a solution.
So, we built
Buckaroo as an answer for all small businesses
affected by the rising costs of online
advertising. What is Buckaroo?
Buckaroo is an all-in-one promotional tool created
with the business owner in mind.
In just
one minute, you can
create an
entire website, then
instantly post pages to Facebook and
Twitter.
We recently launched
our own take on the "daily deal" with,
Buckaroo Deals — a response to
the hardships facing small business owners
running deals with Groupon and LivingSocial.
While other daily deal
sites take at least half your revenue,
Buckaroo wants you to keep it!

low-cost prices!
What's in a name?
We selected
‘Buckaroo’ for several reasons. First, it evokes a cocky,
can-do image. But as baseball great Dizzy Dean once said, "It ain't
braggin' if you can do it." Second, we wanted a name that wouldn’t
be confused with our Iron Speed Designer product, which is sold mostly to
software developers. And third, ‘Buckaroo.com’ was the original
name of Iron Speed, Inc. (very few folks know this).
